Initialization logic allows you to initialize arrays, variables, and other elements at the beginning of a simulation run as shown below:
Other common uses of initialization logic include:
• Reading external files
• Displaying messages
• Prompting for values
• Resetting general read/write files
• Activating independent subroutines that process logic based on a timer. (See Subroutines; also see Activate).
